Board
Community
Community Clerk (Onsite)
- Weekly or bi-weekly volunteer shift(s) at the PEPO space (4-6 hours per shift)
- Closing/Opening for their volunteer shift
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive space for community members, welcoming folks as they enter the space and answering questions they might have
- Directing folks to our available resources including our community kitchen, lending library, and downstairs meeting/event space
- Vibing with community members of all ages (including kids!), assisting minors with using kitchen appliances for heating up food and making beverages (e.g. pre-mixed lemonade)
Inventory Manager (Onsite)
- Restock kitchen/space inventory on Mondays and/or as needed
- Make inventory purchases online and in-person (a company card will be provided to you!)
- Work with community clerks to ensure items are stocked
Library
Librarian’s Assistant (Remote and/or Onsite)
- Help sort and arrange book donations and book returns
- Assist in managing the online book catalog
- Respond to community questions and concerns sent to our librarian email
Administrative
Volunteer Coordinator (Remote and/or Onsite)
- Lead general volunteer coordination efforts
- Assign available volunteers to general volunteer opportunities day of and/or ahead of time
- Help shape volunteer recruitment
- Answer community questions about volunteering with the organization
Technology
Social Media Manager (Remote)
- Create social media posts for Instagram, Facebook, the website, and/or LinkedIn
- Respond to comments, emails, and DMs on behalf of PEPO
- Canva Pro will be provided to you at no cost
Website Manager (Remote)
- Ensure that events are being updated on the website accurately
- Fix errors and bugs on the website as they come up
- Update plugins and third-party tools on the website
General Volunteer Opportunities
Our organization is primarily volunteer-run. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities, we would love to have you! We have no obligations for our volunteers and want to respect your time and life. Our volunteers help out with many different things, including:
- Coordinating and attending events/pop-ups
- Marketing and advertising
- Assisting with operations such as the library, café, programming, etc.
- Food pick up and deliveries
