FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE   Grand Opening of Panethnic Pourovers: A Nonprofit Community Space and Library Cafe   [QUINCY, MA] — [Oct. 4, 2023] — We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Panethnic Pourovers, a nonprofit community space and library cafe dedicated to providing responsive mutual aid to locals, advocating for underrepresented identities, and fostering diversity and equity within our community. This momentous event will take place on October 21st, and we are proud to highlight our commitment to the AAPI community as we open our doors.   Located at 186 West Squantum Street in Quincy, PEPO is poised to become a hub for community-responsive education and empowerment. The grand opening celebration will kick off at [Event Start Time] and promises to be an unforgettable occasion. Highlights of the event include:  
  • Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony: Join us as we cut the ribbon and officially open our doors to the community.
 
  • Mutual Aid Initiatives: Learn about our immediate and long-term mutual aid initiatives aimed at addressing the unique needs of our community members, including a food pantry, educational resources, and programs.
 
  • Community Library and Book Showcase: Sign up for a free library card! Check out our Banned Books Collection and explore book recommendations by the PePo community members.
 
  • Interactive Art Installations: Explore wall murals by local artists and make your mark on the Wish Tree art installation that reflect the values of inclusivity, equity, and unity.
 
  • Henna Artists: Experience the rich heritage of South Asian henna art.
 
  • Raffle: You can get tickets by following us on social media, buying items from the cafe, or donating. Our big prize is a Kindle, but smaller prizes include gift cards, Kindle subscriptions, etc.
