Mai + Mila are organizing an open mic + community reading event at Panethnic Pourovers in Quincy on Sept 14, 6-8pm! Let’s celebrate Asian American Lit together, woohoo!
Hosted in friendship with Asian American Writers' Workshop, open to all ages & totally free, with snacks & drinks provided!! Featured readers are Chuang Stage founder Alison Qu & local students! We’ll have zines for you to take home, books from our personal collections for your to explore, performances to enjoy, and friends to make!! Vibes will be very chill and it would make our hearts so full to see you. Conducted in English (mainly), with lit materials in English, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Spanish!
